The College of Music held the “Sound All Over the World” 2024 International exchange concert

On July 27, 2024, a music feast - “Sound All Over the World” 2024 International Exchange Concert was successfully held in Yangzhou Concert Hall. The concert was jointly organized by the College of Music of Yangzhou University and the Jiangsu Vocal Music Society.

Before the concert, the college held a ceremony for the appointment of adjunct professors, and hired Professor Artur Stefanovicz, a high tenor singer, professor of Chopin University of Music in Poland and doctoral supervisor, as an adjunct professor of the College of Music. The secretary of the Party committee of the college, Fang Dongsheng, issued a letter of appointment to Professor Artur Stefanovicz. On behalf of the College, Fang Dongsheng welcomed the arrival of Professor Artur Stefanovicz and his group. He hoped that the two universities will strengthen cooperation in the cultivation of music talents, discipline construction and international exchanges to help the high-quality development of the music discipline.

Professor Artur Stefanovicz thanked the college for its warm reception, and combined with many years of teaching and singing experience, he imparts valuable experience and methods to the audience. At the same time, he hopes that the two schools will continue to strengthen artistic exchanges in the field of music education, give play to the advantages of their respective disciplines, enhance academic exchanges, and jointly promote the progress of music career.

Professor Zhang Meilin, president of Jiangsu Vocal Music Society and director of the “Forest of Bel Canto” vocal Art Center of Yangzhou University, participated in the activity. Xia Yan, director of the vocal music Teaching and Research Department of the College of Music, as a guest singer, brought wonderful works such as “Mattinata(Dawn)” and “Dein Ist Mein Ganzes Herz(You are the love of my heart)” to the audience.
