At 7 PM on September 28, 2024, a special concert by young and middle-aged teachers sponsored by the College of Music and the Public Art Education Center of Yangzhou University was successfully held in the lecture Hall of Yifu Library. Zhou Rujun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Yangzhou University, Zhang Xinhua, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department of Yangzhou University, Shen Yiwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Journalism and Media of Yangzhou University, as well as the leadership team of the College of Music and representatives of teachers and students attended the concert. Before the concert began, the secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Music, Fang Dongsheng, delivered an enthusiastic speech.

There are 11 pieces in the concert. There are Guqin teacher Jiang He, Guzheng teacher Chen Kejing, Bamboo flute teacher Sun Feiyi, piano teacher Fan Zhuoying played the national chamber music “Plum Blossom New Lane”（梅花新弄）; Teacher Zhang Yan’s female vocal solo “Youlan Cao”（幽兰操）; Piano teacher Tao Siyan, Trumpet teacher Li Qiwei, Cello teacher Wu Danqing’s cooperation trio “Wish”（如愿）; Teacher Xia Yan’s male vocal solo “That is impossible”; The duet “Introduction and Polonaise Brillante Op.3” by cello teacher Wu Danqing and piano teacher Xu Jing; Teacher Gao Jie’s female vocal solo “Birds singing in the wind”; Teacher Lin Yan’s pipa solo “Overlord Armor Removal”（霸王卸甲）; Yao Ting’s male solo singing “My motherland Mother”（我的祖国妈妈）; Piano teacher Fu Long, Guzheng teacher Cheng Li, Dulcimer teacher Qian Yang’s cooperation trio “Love the Spring Breeze”（恋春风）; Shao Ping’s female solo singing “Love of the Motherland”（祖国之恋）; Zhang Meilin’s male solo singing “Motherland, kind mother” (祖国，慈祥的母亲）.

Finally, all the actors sang “My Motherland and I”（我和我的祖国） together to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, and the love for the motherland in the song was touching. Teacher Shao Ping and Zhang Meilin respectively made comments on the concert. The concert was a complete success and was well received by the audience.
