Liu Yongfu

Liu Yongfu is a professor and graduate tutor at the Conservatory of Music in Yangzhou University. He is a member of the Chinese Musicians Association. Actively participated in curriculum construction and teaching reform, he had won many awards: first prize and second prize of school-level Teaching Achievements; first prize in Class Teaching Quality Evaluation, first prize in Excellent Teaching. His academic paper on  teaching reform won the first, second and third prizes of the Ministry of Education and Province awards.

The main research direction: Chinese Traditional Palace Tuning. He pioneered the concept of "one song and more harmonies"; created the concept of "the same tone" and advocated the abolition of "parallel tone", "relationship tone" and "same tone column size adjustment"; He firstly organized and proposed "modulated tone change", the three major "acoustic system" theories of functional diacritics and "decorative diacritics". He created the "traditional seven-tone scales" combination mode, the "starting in the same, in the palace, standing in the tone" , the conclusion of the principle of "the same three palaces", revealed the connotation principle of "five, six, six, and ten tubes are still the palace". He also systematically interpreted the "five sounds and two changes of the latitude and longitude", the concept of national music creation; re-examining the law of the rhythm of Guanzi and Lu's Spring and Autumn, clearing the source for it. He elucidated the principle of "tune relations" in the theory of Chinese traditional palace tones 1500years earlier than the West. 

 "three-point profit and loss" is one of the important factors that plague and influence the construction of the traditional Chinese palace theory system; He successively studied in Chinese Musicology, Journal of the Central Conservatory of Music, People's Music, Chinese Music, Huang Zhong, Music and Performance, Music Exploration, Symphony, Yuefu New Voice, Journal of Tianjin Conservatory of Music, Xinghai More than 100 papers have been published in domestic music professional journals such as the Journal of the Conservatory of Music.

He has presided over more than 10 national and ministerial-level projects such as the National Social Science Fund Art Project, the Humanities and Social Science Planning Fund Project of the Ministry of Education, and the Jiangsu Education Science Planning Project.
